Hi I'm Erica, I'm your everyday 30-year-old brain cancer survivor/Type I Diabetic whose complex health is bottled inside a bubbly caring personality just trying to pursue my passions for life, love, acceptance, and to make the world a better place. Despite my everyday struggles of living with Type I Diabetes and the after effects of treatment: memory issues, balance, hearing, and eye problems, etc.; I have my strong faith in Jesus, my parents and family, and a community that supports me to get through life. Everyday is a miracle from above driving me through this ever-crazy challenge of "adulting" and doing life. I write this blog to inspire others going through similar situations as myself and as a reminder to everyone that if I can do it, they can to! Not to mention this is for my own mental health and a reminder to tomorrows brain, to stay encouraged and uplifted and find the positive in a life that seems anything but perfect.

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
